Chaque matin, sur la côte ouest de l'île Maurice, nous rencontrons des dauphins sauvages qui s'approchent de la côte pour socialiser, se détendre et jouer. L'île abrite deux espèces de dauphins : les grands dauphins et les petits dauphins. Nous voyons généralement l'un ou l'autre, sauf si vous avez beaucoup de chance et que vous rencontrez les deux espèces, ce qui arrive parfois !

Nous aimons ces créatures marines et notre but est de guider nos invités à travers cette expérience de vie ; la passion et le respect sont nos priorités. L'équipage commencera l'excursion par un briefing et vous donnera des détails sur : la sécurité, l'interaction respectueuse avec les dauphins, les horaires de l'excursion, etc...

Nous vous encourageons à commencer tôt pour une interaction paisible et respectueuse avec les dauphins : 6h15 pendant la saison hivernale et 5h30 pendant la saison estivale. Nous les observons et nageons avec eux pendant 60 à 90 minutes. Ensuite, nous naviguons vers notre plongée avec masque et tuba préférée dans l'aquarium naturel pour observer la vie marine tropicale : palourdes, poissons, étoiles de mer, coraux... La dernière étape de l'excursion sera le célèbre rocher de cristal dans le lagon blanc. Une fragile formation corallienne au milieu d'une eau cristalline.

L'arrivée au départ se fait à partir de notre bureau à L'Estuaire à Black River (voir le point de localisation).

Pour votre confort, tout le matériel de plongée avec tuba sera fourni à bord, et du pain aux bananes fait maison sera servi le matin.

Pssst... Restez calme et positif, les dauphins peuvent sentir votre énergie car ils ont des ratios émotionnels cérébraux très proches de nous, les humains !

➞ Veuillez noter que le nombre de dauphins sur le site et le comportement des animaux changent au jour le jour. Nous ne contrôlons pas ces deux éléments car ils sont sauvages et ne peuvent pas prévoir les rencontres à l'avance. Notre équipe s'adapte et met tout en œuvre pour offrir une interaction mémorable.

Ajoutez vos photos et vidéos sous-marines personnelles avec les dauphins, prises par nos guides photographes à l'aide des dernières caméras GoPro. Veuillez noter que le résultat final des photos et des vidéos dépendra de l'interaction avec le dauphin, de vos compétences en natation et de l'état général de la mer. Une fois examinés et approuvés, tous les fichiers vous seront remis sur une carte SD à la fin du voyage ou envoyés par WeTransfer.

La capacité maximale par bateau est de 8 personnes. Vous pouvez réserver le bateau (le prix reste le même pour un maximum de 4 personnes) et spécifier les personnes supplémentaires pour chaque bateau.

If you can... do this trip!
Here's what you need to know - you must be a strong swimmer, the boat takes you out on the water and you just jump in! In hindsight, I wish I had practised a bit more with mask, snorkel and fins. BUT... what an experience. Our guide was Stefan and he was great, doing his best to make sure that we got the most from our time with them.
There were dolphins everywhere! The noise is amazing, all the clicks and whistles are so easy to hear underwater.
We had the photo package and I would recommend this so that you can fully immerse yourself in the experience.

Everything was perfect from front to back. Started at the pick-up from the hotel to the tour. The experience of swimming with dolphins in the open sea is simply unique. The photos were also worth booking. I can highly recommend it to everyone.

Today we went out swimming with dolphins down at La Morne. The boat leaves from La Balise Marina in Tamarin. What an excellent experience especially for my grandchildren. Cedric and John took great care of our group and nothing was too much trouble for them. Recommend that you take their video package as Cedric really knows how to capture your experience.

Absolutely amazing experience

A definite must do bucket list item going swimming with dolphins. The team at Vitamin Sea are truly professional, friendly and know what they are doing, inspiring confidence whilst out on the ocean. They are truly the best. Our guides Kelle and Mattheu went out of their way to help my wife who is disabled, to embark and disembark the boat and to help her get into the sea.
It is well worth every cent and getting up before the crack of dawn.
We will be back in future to swim with the dolphins.

Watching only trip isnt good, because you watch only small dots on sea, bud snorkelling with dolphins was great, a lot of animals is swiminng along you.......very nice.
